• User-uploaded images: photos of locations that you choose to upload within the app
• Location data: your device's location is used locally to support app features and is never transmitted to our servers
• Camera: your camera is used locally to scan QR codes at locations. No images are captured or stored from this process

• To create and manage your account
• To store and display location images you choose to upload
• To provide location-aware features on your device
• To allow QR code scanning for location check-ins

4. Data Storage

Account information and user-uploaded images are stored securely using Supabase. Location data and camera data are processed entirely on your device and are never sent to our servers. We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal data to any third parties.

5. Permissions

• Location: used on-device only to support navigation and location features
• Camera: used on-device only to scan QR codes at hiking locations
• Storage/Media: used to allow you to select and upload photos of locations

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
